Playland-Not-at-the-Beach is open Saturdays and Sundays starting each day at 10:00
am during April and May.

You may book an Adventure Tour and treat your friends and family to a personalized
visit, complete with your own guide who will customize your adventure according to
your interests. Reservations for an Adventure Tour must usually be made at least
one week in advance, but it's always worth a phone call to check on availability; every
once in a while we have a group cancellation. The price is $100 for a group of up to
6 people for a 2-hour adventure. Up to 12 people can schedule a 3-hour tour for a
donation of $250. We can also make arrangements for larger groups with some advance
planning. These Adventure Tours include all games, attractions and exhibits.

It is also possible to come by for a casual visit with highlights pointed out by one
of our docents and time reserved to pay our many arcade and pinball machines. The price
is $15 general admission or $10 for seniors 55 and older and $10 for juniors up to 14
years. Some of Playland's attractions may be intense for children under 5 - we do have
two Laughing Sals after all!
There's something for everyone at Playland-Not-at-the-Beach. Amongst our 20+ exhibit
areas you will see hundreds of vintage photographs, artifacts and antiques from America's
Bygone Amusement Parks. Whitney's Playland in San Francisco and the Sutro Baths and
Museum are the spotlighted in our Midway and Hall of Memories. Our arcade areas feature
over 25 historically significant pinball machines, a wide assortment of penny arcade devices
and movie viewers, and challenging skill machines. Carousel Carnival features a tribute
to carnival games old and new and rewards you with prizes.

Special events can be easily planned, from Birthday Parties to Murder Mystery Events. Pricing
is based on hours and number of attendees. Don't miss out on all the fun!
